I was massively behind on the quilt along and didn’t get to post pictures of my cutting pile or my assembly. So, here is the pile of pieces all cut out, ready to go.
I will say that the cutting and assembly of this quilt top went super fast. I honestly started cutting on Monday evening of this week (8/29) and was able to get everything pieced by this afternoon (9/2). This even with life interfering and starting our homeschool year on Monday. Doing a quilt along is a great way to meet new people and get their version of the same quilt. It has been so much fun seeing everyone’s creations. I now only have to get some backing fabric and binding so that I can start quilting.
Here is a picture of the finished top:
If you want to get in on the fun, check out the website here. This will take you to the first part of the quilt along. Thanks for reading!
It looks great! Perhaps it is too late, but the Square in a Square blocks on rows 4 and 8 look like they might be upside down. Thanks for sewing along and wow, great progress in a week!
Beautiful fabrics! Congrats on the speed piecing to get the top done!
Beautiful work!
